Blu – NoYork (Album)

In the age of the internet, album leaks are devils for artists and labels. In this situation though, it’s said that Blu was handing out cd’s to fans at Rock The Bells, so he can’t expect any less. Back to the music, this is no Below the Heavens, Blu’s classic project, but there are some superb, smooth feeling records on this one. My favorites thus far “My Sunshine”, “DownToEarth”, and “Never Been the Same”. Blu tries a lot of different styles of instrumentals on this, so it’ll be interesting to see how his fan base reacts.
