Helping bring rise to other successful artists through producing under his own So So Def Recordings label and other ventures, Jermaine Dupri has made his impact on hip hop much more behind the scenes. Dupri’s prominence as a producer–as evidenced by his work with artists like Kriss Kross, Usher, Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Lil Wayne, and Bow Wow–is often unrealized today as others like Dr. Dre have stolen some of the spotlight as the best producers there are. Dupri’s first solo album, Life in 1472, contained a few notable tracks and some notable features. ”Jazzy Hoes” is a track with a more new school feel but a calm retro vibe. Each emcee puts out a fun verse that you can enjoy this fine summer day.
