Lupe Fiasco – “Lamborghini Angels”

Lupe Fiasco is my all time favorite rapper. Food and Liquor is my favorite album of all time. Therefore, I need a couple days even weeks to fully come to terms with every single release. My initial reaction is extremely positive because of the beat, it has a futuristic sound to it with the synths and bumping snare. He’s definitely chosen to go in a completely different direction in terms of the instrumentals on Food and Liquor 2 compared to the sample heavy, old school style on the original album. Although the hook is from a track released a couple years back called “Angels Remix” it fits well and I’ll be digesting the lyrics for days. Thoughts? Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album coming September 25th!
