Our Mission

I guess you could call it a “mission statement”, “declaration”, or even a “manifesto”, but either way, we don’t care.  The point of this thing is to tell you what we’re all about – the “big picture”.  Fab4 Music is a different kind of music site, and we want to explain why. We’d be the first to tell you we’re constantly evolving, and in many respects still a work in progress (yeah we make mistakes). Then again, hip-hop is always shifting, and we hope our rationale reflects that principle. That being said, if you don’t like change, then we don’t expect you to stick around here either.

The Content:
Yes, we are primarily a hip-hop music blog, but the truth is, we post whatever we’re listening to or what’s buzzing, whether it’s hip-hop, electronic or indie music. Fab4 Music promises we’re passionate about what we post; otherwise we wouldn’t waste your time, let alone our own. Our goal is to share the best music-oriented content in the form of free downloads, music videos, interviews, etc. If you want quantity over quality, we’ll be glad to throw you in the direction of “big name” industry blogs who can satisfy your need for audible sh*t. That’s not us though; we’re a small team that places an emphasis on hard work and the continual hustle.

The Fans:
It goes without saying, but Fab4 Music is proud to acknowledge we’ve got the finest fan base out there. We couldn’t do it without your continual feedback and constant participation in the Fab4 community. We put a lot of trust in our relationship with you. When you see room for improvement, chances are you’re probably right, and we’re all ears.

Our Pact:
We’re in it to win it. That doesn’t mean that we harbor any illusions about being the “biggest” or “most popular” music blog out there. The end game is to improve the good thing we’ve got going. All we ask of our fans is to hold their end of the bargain and we’ll continue to do our thing. In other words, if you stay loyal, be active in the community, and enjoy what we do, we’ll keep on providing the goods.

We never stop posting. Fab4 Music provides content close to 365 days a year. If that isn’t sound proof we love this then I’ll remind you of a classic Macklemore quote:
“If I’d done it for the money, I’d have been a f**king lawyer”
